Anycubic Kossel Klipper extruder PID calibration
5. Troubleshooting
It is possible that you will get:
“Internal error on command: PID_CALIBRATE”
This indicates some problem with badly installed thermistor, cooling duct aiming nozzle or bad PID values.
5.1. Order hot end silicone sock
If you do not have a silicone sock on your hot end, buy it right now. It helps a lot with these problems.
5.2. Check thermistor
Check your thermistor, it often falls out of the hot end if the screw holding thermistor is not tightened.
5.3. Try PID calibration with a lower temperature
Try PID calibration with a lower temperature, for example:
Send this command:
PID_CALIBRATE HEATER=extruder TARGET=200
As you can see in this picture, the PID calibration number 1 – with a target of 230°C failed after the second heating/cooling period.
On the right side is a successfull PID calibration for 200°C.
